1  Go  to  dark  Geth-sema  -  ne,
2  Follow  to   the   judgment hall;
3  Calvary's mournful mountain climb;
4 Early hasten to the tomb,

  (Bsus4)              G6*        Bsus4
1  Ye that  feel  the  tempter's  power;
2  View the  Lord  of  life    ar-raigned;
3 There, adoring at His feet,
4  Where they laid His breathless clay;

1  Watch with Him   one bitter   hour;

1 Learn of Jesus Christ to pray.
2 Learn of Him to bear the cross.
3 Learn of Jesus Christ to die.

   A9     x02450   A9/C#  x42x40

Notes:
   This version changes the quality of the hymn. The melody
   is exactly the same, but this harmony is dark and dissonant.
   Sometimes the melody clashes with the chords. To me this
   fits the lyrics better.

   I use a finger picking style with this and sing the last word
   of each line for an extra measure, playing the Bsus4 chord
   above. My finger picking pattern plays the 4th (D) string open
   on beat 4 of measures where I'm playing Bsus4 on that beat.
